SmartSIM340Z is a development board with voltage regulation for Simcom SIM340Z GSM/GPRS module.
Stable switching power supply is available on-board, so that no additional power supply is needed.
GSM Antenna can be mounted on the board for a better quality of signal.
Description
The SmartSIM340Z Board is a full-featured development tool for the Simcom SIM340Z GSM/GPRS module. The board offers a complete solution for creating your own GSM-GPRS based device. It features a voltage regulator, so that you don't have to connect additional power supply circuits. You just have to provide the board with the power supply voltage (9-32V DC or 7-23 AC), attach GSM antenna and you are ready to create GSM-GPRS based devices. Configure connection lines for the desired microcontroller using an on-board DIP switch. On-board 2x5 connnector and 2.54mm pin header enable the board to be connected to peripheral modules or other devices. An antenna holder is also available on-board.
Designed for various user needs, SIM340Z is a quad-band GSM/GPRS engine operating at frequencies GSM 850M HZ, EGSM 900 MHz, DCS 1800 MHz and PCS 1900 MHz. The SIM340Z module features GPRS multi-slot class 10/ class 8 (optional) and GPRS coding schemes CS-1, CS-2, CS-3 and CS-4. With a small package size of 40mm x 33mm x 2.85mm, SIM340Z can fit almost all space requirements in your embedded projects, such as GSM/GPRS phone and other mobile devices.
