Buck 8 click is a high efficiency, wide voltage range, and high current synchronous step down (buck) DC-DC converter, featuring two enhanced modes that can be used to drive lighter loads with increased efficiency. The output voltage can be adjusted by the multi-turn trimmer potentiometer. Since the output voltage is set mechanically, it will retain the set value, even after the restart. Very high efficiency results with the reduced power dissipation, thus allowing reasonably high power to be delivered to the load, connected to the output terminal. Internal feedback compensation across the whole voltage range allows lower number of external components.
The Step Down 2 click is a Click board™ equipped with the L6986HTR, a synchronous step-down switching regulator with operating input voltages from 4V to 38V and output voltage adjustability ranges from 0.85 V to VIN. Because of the main possibilities its features offer, the Step Down 2 click is ideally used for programmable logic controllers (PLCs), decentralized intelligent nodes, sensors, and low noise applications (LNM).
The Step Down 2 click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
Buck 7 Click is a high-efficiency buck (step-down) DC-DC converter, which can provide digitally adjusted step-down voltage on its output while delivering up to 3.5A of current. Buck 7 click accepts a wide voltage range on its input - from 5V to 35V. The output voltage may be adjusted via the SPI interface, in the range from 3.3V to approximately 90% of the input voltage. This Click board™ utilizes the MAX17504, an integrated high efficiency, synchronous step-down DC-DC converter with internal compensation, from Analog Devices. In addition, to allow digital control of the output voltage, the MCP4921, a 12bit D/A converter with SPI Interface is used on the feedback loop.
