3D HALL 5 click is a very accurate, magnetic field sensing Click board™, used to measure the intensity of the magnetic field across three perpendicular axes. It is equipped with the IIS2MDCTR, a low power 3D magnetic sensor IC, from STMicroelectronics. This IC has a separate Hall sensing element on each axis, which allows a very accurate and reliable measurement of the magnetic field intensity in a 3D space, offering a basis for accurate positional calculations. The IIS2MDCTR magnetic sensor IC offers two industry-standard interfaces: both I2C and SPI communication protocols are supported by this IC. This sensor IC also features a powerful programmable interrupt engine with configurable polarity, type, source, and more.
There are many kinds of touch sensors on the market, but every one of them has some unique features that make it stand out from the crowd. TouchKey 3 click is equipped with seven advanced capacitive sensors, based on the proprietary QTouch® technology. Besides quite a large number of QTouch® capacitive sensor channels, TouchKey 3 click also offers some additional features, such as the Adjacent Key Suppression (AKS®), a technology that ensures correct button press, even when the touch sensing pads are placed close to each other.
With its many sensing channels and their advanced sensing technologies, TouchKey 3 really stands out from the crowd. It can be used as a multi-button control pad for various embedded applications, replacing mechanical buttons, which are typically prone to malfunctions, with elegant and durable touch sensing pads. Since it can detect touch through 5mm thick layer of plastic, TouchKey 3 is covered with a protective plastic coating, which makes the click board™ even more robust and wear-proof.
Thumbstick click is a high precision input device. It features a dual axis, spring return, pushbutton enabled joystick (similar to the ones used on joypads on popular gaming consoles), and a MCP3204 12-bit A/D converter.
RS485 click 5V is an RS422/485 transceiver Click board™, which can be used as an interface between the TTL level UART and the RS422/485 communication bus. It features a half-duplex communication capability, bus Idle, open, and short-circuit detection, thermal shutdown, and more. It is well suited for transmitting data packets over long distances and noisy areas, using the twisted wire bus, which offers good electromagnetic interferences (EMI) immunity.
Due to its robustness and reliability, the RS485 click 5V can be used in various applications that require reliable data transfer in various noisy environments, or over a substantial distance, when data rate transfer up to 1 Mbps is sufficient. RS485 5V click can be used for controlling various building automation systems, intelligent lighting systems (DMX), Point-of-Sale (POS) networks, and various other devices that need to establish a reliable communication over the RS422/485 bus.
