This bundle provides a narrow-band power line communication (N-PLC) solution that uses existing electrical power lines to transmit data signals. It allows users to easily combine the N-PLC Click based on the ultimate N-PLC transceiver, the SM2400, from Semitech with N-PLC Wall Adapter (power line communication AC coupling circuit) to deliver a flexible and elegant solution for home automation and control.
Combining this board with the N-PLC Wall Adapter (110/220VAC) allows testing PLC communication performance over an AC main network. This adapter is also compatible with a wide range of AC plugs from our offer, which makes this bundle suitable for use in different parts of the world.
N-PLC Click is fully compatible with the mikroBUS™ socket and can be used on any host system supporting the mikroBUS™ standard. DIGI I/O Click is a compact add-on board for flexible industrial digital input and output control. This board features the MAX14906, a quad-channel industrial digital input/output IC from Analog Devices, compliant with IEC 61131-2 standard. Each channel can be individually configured as a high-side switch, push-pull driver, or digital input, supporting various operating modes with current limiting up to 1.2A and fast signal transmission. The board supports 24V operation by default, with options for individual channel power configuration, and includes built-in diagnostics like overvoltage and undervoltage detection, thermal overload, and wire-break detection. DIGI I/O Click is ideal for industrial automation, motor control systems, PLCs, and Distributed Control Systems (DCS).

DIGI Isolator Click is a compact add-on board that provides electrical isolation and signal conditioning for the serial peripheral interface and a UART interface. This board features two DCL540C01, high-speed, quad-channel digital isolators from Toshiba Semiconductor. Depending on the usage, this CMOS isolator can achieve data rates of up to 150Mbps, while withstanding up to 5kVrms voltage. Fiber Opt Click is a compact add-on board that adds fiber-optic communication to your design. This board features one IF-D91, a fiber-optic photodiode, and one IF-E97, a fiber-optic LED, both from Industrial Fiber Optics. It provides a plastic optic connection feature over a plastic fiber cable with typical data rates of up to 512Kbps, and a maximum of up to 1Mbps, depending on the driving circuitry and implementation. Received data from the IF-D91 photodiode is filtered and amplified through a dual operational amplifier, the MCP6284from Microchip, and sent for further processing via selected mikroBUS™ lines. This Click board™ makes the perfect solution for high-speed digital data links, local area networks, video links, EMC/EMI signal isolation, fiber optic modems, and more.
