Are you looking for a job or do you want to work? There’s a huge difference. A job is something everyone needs but that doesn’t mean that everyone wants to work. Days are not the same, they are very different. Nonetheless, at the end of the week, month, we get the job done, and we do not say that we were working on something, we say that we have got it done. If you think you can join us or you know someone who wants to work in the electronics industry – you are in the right place. Age and education are not crucial, we are more interested in who you are as a human being. Most of the day we spend in the office, therefore we live in the companies for which we work for so it is very important to know who exactly is coming to be our roommate. Just a few of our colleagues have previously worked before getting a job at Mikroe, so we are open to all candidates that don’t have work experience. We have learned and so will you! Because we export 99.8% of our products, English is very important for us, specially for anyone looking to work in sales, support or procurement.

A degree? It is very desirable and a big plus, but only if you have the ability to use the accumulated knowledge in a practical way. If you are someone who has gathered practical knowledge without a formal education – we welcome that as well, and we can assure you that you will be treated the same as your colleagues that have a degree.

Salary: There’s no such thing as unpaid work. If we have chosen you, we take full responsibility for your knowledge or lack thereof, and we are prepared to do that. The rest is up to you!
