Mikromedia 5 CAPACITIVE shield is the perfect way to expand the functionalities of your mikromedia 5 CAPACITIVE with 4 mikroBUS™ sockets - add any functionality from our ever-growing range of Click boards™. We are fully stocked with everything from sensors and wifi transceivers to motor control and audio amplifiers.
The board features 4 mikroBUS™ sockets, CAN transceiver, test points, as well as 4 mikroBUS™ Shuttle connectors. Typically, a mikroBUS™ Shuttle connector can be used in combination with mikroBUS™ Shuttle extension board but is not limited to it. Pins labeled as NC are not used on the shield, but they are routed on the mikromedia board to a corresponding microcontroller pin. For more information please check schematic files of the used hardware. Two separate 1x26 pin female sockets come with the board package.

Mikromedia 5 for STM32F7 CAPACITIVE is not limited to multimedia-based applications only. USB, Ethernet, WiFi and RF connectivity options, digital motion sensor, battery charging functionality, piezo-buzzer, SD card reader, RTC, and much more expands its use beyond the multimedia.
Two standardized 1x26 pin headers expose the available MCU pins to the user, adding another layer of expandability. By using mikromedia 5 shield, connectivity can be further expanded with several mikroBUS™ sockets, additional connectors, peripherals, and so on.
Mikromedia 5 for STM32F7 CAPACITIVE is a compact development board designed as a complete solution for the rapid development of multimedia and GUI-centric applications. By featuring a 5" TFT display with capacitive touch screen driven by the powerful graphics controller that can display the 24-bit color palette (16.7 million colors), along with a DSP-powered embedded sound CODEC IC, represents a perfect solution for any type of multimedia application.
Mikromedia 5 for STM32F7 CAPACITIVE is designed as the complete solution which can be implemented directly into any project, with no additional hardware modifications required. At its core, there is a powerful 32-bit STM32F746ZGT6 microcontroller, produced by STMicroelectronics, which provides sufficient processing power for the most demanding tasks. Four mounting holes at all four corners allow simple installation with mounting screws. For most applications, a nice stylish casing is all that is needed to turn the Mikromedia 5 for STM32F7 CAPACITIVE development board into a fully functional, high-performance, feature-rich device.
USB UART 5 Click is a compact add-on board with a general-purpose USB to UART serial interface. This board features the CP2110, a highly-integrated USB-to-UART bridge controller from Silicon Labs. The CP2110 uses the standard USB HID device class, requiring no custom driver and a UART interface that implements all RS-232 signals, including control and hardware handshaking, so existing system firmware does not need to be modified. The UART capabilities of the CP2110 also include baud rate support from 300 to 1Mbps, hardware flow control, RS-485 support, and GPIO signals that are user-defined for status and control information. This Click board™ is designed to quickly add a USB 2.0 full-speed compliant UART interface for custom applications.
USB UART 5 Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
USB UART 3 click is a versatile and feature-rich USB to UART interface from Silicon Labs. It uses CP2102N which is a part of their USBXpress™ family. These devices are designed to quickly add a USB 2.0 full-speed compliant UART interface for custom applications, by eliminating firmware complexity and reducing development time. The Click board™ requires appropriate drivers to be installed in the host OS, in order to support the virtual COM port functionality. Once installed, this device offers amazing connectivity options, up to 3 Mbaud, a very low number of external components, simplified setup of the advanced options via the GUI-based configurator (if required), out-of-the-box functionality with the royalty-free virtual COM port drivers, provided by the Silicon Labs.
