Ready for AVR Board is the best solution for fast and simple development of microcontroller applications using 40-pin AVR MCUs. It comes with ATmega16 connected to 8MHz crystal oscillator. It contains four IDC10 headers for all available microcontroller ports, USB-UART module, prototyping area and a power supply circuit. Board is specially designed to fit into special white plastic casing which is sold separately.
Board comes preprogrammed with fast UART bootloader which eliminates the need for external programmers. Board also supports fast USB 2.0 AVRProg™ programmer.
Ready for AVR is fully supported by mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal compilers for AVR. Compilers come with dozens of examples that demonstrate every feature of the board.
On-board power supply regulator is great. It creates stable 5V for the microcontroller. It features standard power connector, and screw terminals for even easier connectivity, but you can also power the board over USB.
Quail is an STM32-powered development solution for building hardware prototypes with click boards and C# managed code. It brings together click boards and Microsoft’s .NET Micro Framework for embedded devices (NETMF). Write code for your Quail projects in Microsoft Visual Studio (free in the community edition); drivers for individual click™ boards are provided by the MikroBUS.NET team.
Hardware-wise, Quail has 4 mikroBUS™ sockets for click board connectivity, along with 24 screw terminals for connecting additional electronics and two USB ports (one for programming, the other for external mass storage). The board runs on a 5V power supply.
The 8051-Ready Board is the best solution for fast and simple development of 20-, 44-pin DIP and PLCC44 8051 microcontroller applications. It includes connectors for connecting the 8051prog2 in-system stand-alone programmer that enables you to program MCUs without any other additional device. There are also IDC10 connectors linked to the MCU pins provided on the board. These conectors enable numerous additional modules to be connected to the board, so you can quickly assemble functional working environment that perfectly suits your needs.
This tool also contains a USB to serial UART interface FT232R which simplifies USB to serial designs and reduces external component count by fully integrating an external EEPROM, USB termination resistors and an integrated clock circuit which requires no external crystal into the device.
