Clicker 2 for PIC32MZ is a compact PIC32 development kit with two mikroBUS™ sockets for click board connectivity. It carries the PIC32MZ 32-bit microcontroller (1 MB Live-Update Flash and 512 KB SRAM) with FPU from Microchip. With a built-in USB-HID bootloader the Clicker 2 for PIC32MZ it easy to program.

Programming. To make your prototyping experience as convenient as possible, Clicker 2 for PIC32MZ is preprogrammed with a USB-HID bootloader. Just download our mikroBootloader application and you’re ready to upload your firmware. The on-board mikroProg connector enables programming through external programmer/debugger. You can supply power to the board with a micro USB cable provided in the package. Onboard voltage regulators provide the appropriate voltage levels to each component on the board.
Power Management. Clicker 2 for PIC32MZ features LTC®3586, a highly integrated power management and battery charger IC that includes a current limited switching PowerPath manager. LTC®3586 also enables battery charging over a USB connection. You can supply power to the board with a micro USB cable provided in the package. On-board voltage regulators provide the appropriate voltage levels to each component on the board.

This 32-bit (1 MB Live-Update Flash and 512 KB SRAM) microcontroller with FPU is rich with on-chip peripherals. The PIC32MZ EF family features high core performance up to 200 MHz, an integrated Floating-Point Unit (FPU), a wide selection of peripherals and excellent connectivity options including Controller Area Network (CAN).
Focus on your main idea because clicker 2 will take care of the details for you: your prototype already has a power management system in place. The onboard LTC®3586-1 IC will provide 3.3V or 5V to the Click boards. It turns the USB port into a battery charger. For convenience, clicker 2 for PIC32MZ features a reset button and an ON/OFF switch (you can also connect an external ON/OFF switch).
