The CAN FD 4 Click is a Click board™ that features the NCV7344D10R2G, a Controller Area Network (CAN) transceiver, from ON Semiconductor. This Click board™ provides differential transmit capability to the bus and differential receive capability to the CAN controller. The CAN FD 4 click can be used for various applications such as automotive and industrial networks.
The CAN FD 4 click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
MCP2542 click is the CAN bus transceiver, which allows TTL/CMOS level signals typically found on MCUs, to be used for the communication via the CAN bus, which uses the higher voltage levels and differential signals. In addition, this Click board™ protects the sensitive MCU part of the device from excessive voltage spikes and electrostatic discharges (ESD), typically observed in automotive systems, where the CAN communication is extensively used. This Click board™ uses the MCP2542WFD, a CAN FD transceiver, which offers robust CAN bus interface, with ESD protection up to ±13 kV, permanent dominant detection on TXD and CAN bus, battery short circuit and electrical transients suppression on the CAN bus, thermal protection, and more.

CAN FD 5 Click is a compact add-on board that contains CAN transceiver that supports both CAN and CAN FD protocols. This board features the UJA1162A, a ‘self-supplied’ high-speed CAN transceiver integrating an ISO 11898-2:2016 and SAE J2284-1 to SAE J2284-5 compliant CAN transceiver with Sleep Mode from NXP Semiconductors. It features an under-voltage detection, mode control via a single GPIO pin, remote and local wake-up capability, overtemperature shutdown, and a very low quiescent current in Sleep mode. This Click board™ is suitable for HS CAN networks in automotive and industrial applications, in electric power steering (EPS), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), and many more.
