Power Step Click is a compact add-on board designed for control of high-power two-phase bipolar stepper motors in industrial applications. It is based on the A4989SLD gate driver with integrated microstepping translator from Allegro Microsystems. This Click board uses external N-channel MOSFETs to deliver motor currents up to 20A at supply voltages from 12V to 35V, and supports full-, half-, quarter-, and sixteenth-step resolutions via a simple STEP/DIR interface. Key features include programmable decay modes (slow, mixed, fast), a REF trimmer for fine-tuning motor current, and a selectable synchronous rectification mode. Power Step Click is ideal for industrial automation, CNC machinery, robotic platforms, and any application requiring accurate and efficient high-power stepper motor control.
Power Step Click is fully compatible with the mikroBUS™ socket and can be used on any host system supporting the mikroBUS™ standard. It comes with the mikroSDK open-source libraries, offering unparalleled flexibility for evaluation and customization. What sets this Click board™ apart is the groundbreaking ClickID feature, enabling your host system to automatically detect and identify this add-on board.
NOTE: For optimal thermal performance, MIKROE provides high-quality aluminum and copper heatsinks with adhesive tapes that are available for purchase in its shop. These heatsinks offer the flexibility to enhance the cooling of various components (in this case, the power MOSFETs), ensuring your system runs efficiently and reliably.

MCU Card is a standardized add-on board, which allows very simple installation and replacement of the microcontroller unit (MCU) on a development board equipped with the MCU Card socket. By introducing the new MCU Card standard, we have ensured the absolute compatibility between the development board and any of the supported MCUs, regardless of their pin number and compatibility. MCU Cards are equipped with two 168-pin mezzanine connectors, allowing them to support even MCUs with extremely high pin count. Their clever design allows very simple usage, following the well-established plug & play concept of the Click board™ line of product.

TDC Click is a compact add-on board that recognizes events and provides a digital representation of the time they occurred. This board features the TDC7200, a time-to-digital converter from Texas Instruments. The Time to Digital Converter (TDC) performs the function of a stopwatch and measures the elapsed time (time-of-flight or TOF) between a START pulse and up to five STOP pulses. The ability to measure from START to multiple STOPs gives users the flexibility to select which STOP pulse yields the best echo performance. This Click board™ is suitable for time-of-flight and flow meter applications where zero and low flow measurements require high accuracy.
TDC Click is supported by a mikroSDK compliant library, which includes functions that simplify software development. This Click board™ comes as a fully tested product, ready to be used on a system equipped with the mikroBUS™ socket.
