This add-on board consists of a high-speed Nuvoton processor which carries high-performance fingerprint algorithm developed for on-board A-172-MRQ fingerprint sensor from company ByNew Technology Inc. This board can be used as a standalone device when connected over USB to PC or it can be controlled by the MCU/processor over serial UART interface. Board is already coming with preprogrammed firmware capable of storing up to 24 different fingerprints at the same time, as well as recognition algorithm for fingerprint comparison. DTMF Decoder Click is a compact add-on board that contains an integrated DTMF receiver with enhanced sensitivity. This board features the MT8870D, a complete DTMF receiver integrating the band-split filter and digital decoder functions from Microchip Technology. It offers low power consumption and high performance and uses digital counting techniques to detect and decode all 16 DTMF tone-pairs into a 4-bit code. Whenever a valid tone is detected, it outputs the associated value in binary on four LEDs, with an additional indicator that strobes after each new tone. Waveform Click is a precise sine/triangle/square waveform generator, capable of reproducing frequencies up to 12MHz. It utilizes a Direct Digital Synthesis (DDS) IC made by Analog Devices, a company famed for its specialization in DSP development and engineering. The AD9833 waveform generator IC requires a very low count of additional components: besides the external clock source, it requires almost no components, allowing the Click board™ to be equipped with some additional circuits. A digital potentiometer IC is used to attenuate the output signal, while the high-quality op-amp is used as a buffer.

This board features the LAN9252, a 2-port EtherCAT device controller with dual integrated Ethernet PHYs from Microchip Technology.
