NFC Tag Click is a compact add-on board that provides NFC/RFID tag reading and writing capabilities. This board features the M24SR64-Y, a dynamic NFC/RFID tag IC with 64Kbit EEPROM from STMicroelectronics. The RF protocol is compatible with both NFC Forum Type 4 Tag and ISO/IEC 14443 Type A. There are three ways to operate NFC Tag Click: from an I2C interface, by a 13.56MHz RFID reader, or from an NFC-enabled smartphone, tablet, or similar device. This Click board™ makes the perfect solution for developing mobile payment systems (for example, charging fares in public transport) or for any other short-range wireless data exchange.
