RF Meter click is a radio frequency power measurement device covering a frequency span from 1 MHz to 8 GHz over a 60 dB range (approximately). It enables monitoring and measuring frequency levels to ensure the proper functioning and leak detection. An external antenna acquires the signal, which is then processed by the AD8318 logarithmic detector, from Analog Devices. The resulting voltage is fed into an MCP3201 ADC. For communicating with the target board MCU, the mikroBUS SPI interface is used (CS, SCK, MISO pins), with additional TEMP OUT pin.

Signal Strength Measurement, Now Easy - AD8318 - MikroElektronika Learn
Introduction In telecommunications, particularly in radio, signal strength refers to the magnitude of the electric field at a reference point that is at a significant distance from the transmitting antenna. It may also be referred to as received signal level or field strength.
NOTE: Please be advised that any peripheral devices or accessories shown connected to the Click board™ are not included in the package. Check their availability in our shop or in the YMAN section below.
