Hello guys,
I'm trying for some weeks to get GSM2 click working, I'm trying with an Omega2 but I think this is not a problem since I have successfully get GPS2 click working with it. So, on this page https://www.mikroe.com/gsm-2-click , to turn on the gsm module, you have to bring pwk to up state (3.3V in my case) and then STAT led should turn on, and STA pin should get up state (3.3V). Ok but in my case nothing happen when I do this.
I have tried to send "AT" on serial but nothing is returned. Is someone can explain me how to proceed to get this module working?

Hello Sebastien,
In order for the M95 GSM module to operate it has to be supplied with 5V. The jumper on the Click board is used to select voltage logic level depending on the MCU(3.3V or 5V).
Assuming your MCU operates at 3.3V, you would put the SMD jumper on 3.3V and you would need to supply the 5V pin on the Click board with an external power supply of 5V.

Hi,
You need to provide more voltage to the GSM module( 5V )in order for it to work, by connecting an external power supply to the 5V pin(positive pole to 5V pin and negative pole to GND pin).

The SMD jumper is on 3.3V not because that's the voltage supplied to GSM module but because your MCU operates at 3.3V(this is the logical voltage level, the module has to match the MCU one, otherwise they wouldn't be able to communicate).Ok my SMD jumper is on 3.3V since my GSM module power supply is 3.3
