One Socket for all Click Boards

#1 Post by anikolic » 14 Sep 2012 15:24

mikroBUS™ - One Socket for all Click Boards

A nice way to show the awesome potential of mikroBUS sockets which can be found on our 7 generation development boards, and mikroBUS Shields for mikromedia.

Hello,

Currently we are not in position to give you any promises about examples for AVR.
We will give our best.

Thank you for understanding.

Best regards.

Hi I have the EasyPic 6 development board and would like to use one of these boards with it by making a special ribbon cable and solder it to the connections on the board. Ive looked at the schematic and was wondering do I have to connect the two grounds to make it work? Thank You Michael

Hi,

Basically, you can use just one GND pin.

Click's is certainly good, but annoying that they have no examples for AVR-boards and STM32-boards.
it really impossible at once at release Click make examples for all compatible boards (having a mikroBUS sockets) ?
Why such discrimination PIC and other platforms ?

statistics - from 55 (100%) Click boards :
100% - for PIC
60% - support Stellaris (33 Clicks)
47,3% - support STM32 (26 Clicks)
1,8% - support AVR (1 Click)

Only in this parameter statistics can conclude that your effective work is 52,3%
ie 47.7% of its own products you simply do not support ...
