Excellent board :)

In the supported PIC chips list (on the EP7 page), you list the PIC18F47J53. This chip is a 44 (TQFP/QFN) chip, I don't think it's supported directly on EP7 :wink:

28-Pin SPDIP/SOIC/SSOP Also;

Unless we read different datasheet, on Page 5 there is no 28 pin PIC18F47J53 :mrgreen:

yeah Mince-n-Tatties, that's what I said: look at what's written (marking) inside the 28 pin chip : :mrgreen:

this datasheet is for the PIC18FxxJ53 family, and the 28 pin is for the PIC18F2xJ53. the 18F47J53 exists only in 44 pin packages (TQFP, QFN).

btw. let's stop polluting this post with this stupid debate ;)

yip you are correct, good job on finding that, i think you may have missed some others that would need an Intermediate SMD to DIL interface board.
