EasyPIC v7 is all about connectivity. Having four different connectors for each port, you can connect accessory boards, sensors and your custom electronics easier then ever before.

Powerful on-board mikroProg programmer and In-Circuit debugger can program and debug over 250 microcontrollers. You will need it, whether you are a professional or a beginner.

EasyPIC v7 is among few development boards which support both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. This feature greatly increases the number of supported MCUs.It’s like having two boards instead of one!

Two innovative new mikroBUS sockets allow you to use dozens of Click accessory boards with almost no hardware adjustments. Adding new functionality to your device was never so easy.

EasyPIC v7 is the seventh generation of our famous PIC development board. It is the product of accumulated knowledge over the past 10 years, and it’s state of the art of design, functionality and quality. It is loved by beginners and hobbyists, as well as professionals, and used in education and development by thousands. Board comes with PIC18F45K22 device.
Note: 2x16 Character LCD and Graphic LCD with Touch Screen are sold separately.
It’s a big difference
What makes this board so unique is that it comes with
powerful on-board mikroProg programmer and
In-Circuit Debugger, capable of programming more
than 250 microcontrollers. This makes development
with EasyPIC v7 a whole new experience. Whether you are just a beginner, or a well-trained professional,
this remarkable feature is an irreplaceable advantage.
New modules on your demand
EasyPIC v7 has modules for all kinds of development.
Beside standard DS1820 digital thermometer we introduced LM35,
analog temperature sensor. Piezo buzzer will help you test your
sound signalization, and you can use I2C EEPROM to store config data.
Organized to make sense
We have put a lot of thought in making this EasyPIC so much better than it’s predecessor. With better organization ports are now logically grouped and contain related buttons and LEDs. Tri-state switches simplify settings of pull up and pull down resistors on each pin.
We have it all covered
We have returned 4-digit 7seg display to
EasyPIC v7 so you can now build
applications for LCD, GLCD and 7seg, all
on the same board! We have
organized them in a clean and
elegant way, thus increasing their
usability.
All you need to get started: well commented and easy to understand examples and colour user-friendly manuals. Examples demonstrate each on-board module and are a great starting point for your future projects. User manuals are easy to read, with good explanations and lots of photos.
Examples are written for all mikroE PIC compilers: mikroC, mikroBasic and mikroPascal. They are well commented and each example contains working HEX file which you can load and use right away.
For drivers and software for on-board mikroProg programmer and debugger visit Programming tab.
Hover your cursor over the desired module and instantly get more information. Get to know your board even before you buy it.
We have also provided 1x10 soldering pads for further connectivity in each Input/Output group.
Driving 7-segment displays is fun! EasyPIC v7 provides 4-digit display for your applications.
You can simulate analog inputs using two provided analog potentiometers which can be connected to each of the 10 supported microcontroller analog input pins.
GLCD and LCD backlight can be driven with PWM signal from the microcontroller, or they can be turned on in full brightness.
Board supports Dallas DS1820 One-Wire digital temperature sensor. You can measure temperatures from -55C to +125C (-67F to +257F), with 0.5C accuracy.
You can place GLCD 128x64 display directly on the board and firm it in place securely using high-quality plastic distancer, specially designed for this purpose.
This potentiometer allows you to adjust the contrast level of the pixels on your GLCD 128x64 display.
You can store 8x256 bytes of configuration data or other data into on-board 24AA01 Serial EEPROM with I2C interface.
If you need to use other external programmer with EasyPIC v7, we have provided the ICD2/ICD3 compatible connector, so you can override the on-board mikroProg.
Two male IDC10 port headers are available in each Input/Output group, which is convenient for easier access to any PORT pin.
Board is equipped with LCD 2x16 connector which allows you to connect LCD 2x16 display and place it securely using plastic distancer, specially designed for this purpose.
This potentiometer allows you to adjust the contrast level of the pixels on your LCD 2x16 character display.
Each Input/Output PORT group contains red SMD LEDs with low current consumption of only 1mA. Board contains total of 36 LEDs for PORT pins.
We have provided additional PORT header on the left side of the board, so you can now access the desired microcontroller pins on the other side of the board too.
The LM35 is a low-cost precision integrated-circuit analog temperature sensor. It can measure temeperatures from -55C to +150C with 0.25C accuracy at room temperatures.
With just enough RAM and Flash, PIC18F45K22 microcontroller will provide you with enough power for most of your projects.
EasyPIC v7 is the only board in the world to provide two mikroBUS sockets for mikroElektronika Click Boards. mikroBUS provides simple and effective Plug-and-Play connectivity solution.

On-board mikroProg In-Circuit Debugger and programmer is supports over 250 microcontrollers from Microchip.
Programmer USB connector is connected to on-board mikroProg, but can also be used to power the board, when the J6 jumper in the Power Supply section is in the USB position.
With piezo buzzer you can debug your applications, or have audio signalization feature. It can be connected to two digital output pins, one of which is the output of PWM module.
Board is equipped with power supply unit capable of supporting both 3.3V and 5V microcontrollers. Board can be powered over USB cable, or external adapter connectors.
High quality reset button with surrounding reset circuitry ensures stable reset operation.
You can implement UART communication through RS-232 connector provided on the board.
Touch panel controller with connector is provided for analog resistive touch panels attached to the GLCD 128x64 to form GLCD Touch screen.
Tri-state DIP switches are used to enable 4K7 pull-up or pull-down resistor on ony desired PORT pin.
Board provides USB-B connector necessary for writting applications that use USB communication. Connector can be routed to either PORTC or PORTA, depending on the target microcontroller.
FTDI chip allows your EasyPIC v7 board to be connected with a PC through USB cable over UART connection.
8Mhz oscillator circuit that provides external clock is connected to microcontroller osc pins.
Three separate GND pins are available on the board for easier connection of GND reference for oscilloscope probes.
EasyPIC v7 currently supports over 250 Microchip microcontrollers. Browse through the list of supported devices or use the search box to filter out the microcontrollers or families you are interested in. For example, by typing "PIC18" will leave only PIC18F, PIC18LF, PIC18FJ and PIC18FK microcontrollers in the list. More detailed search string will leave more narrow list of devices in the list box.
