CODEGRIP plugin for MPLAB® X IDE enhances capabilities of Microchip’s integrated development environment, adding functionality for communicating with CODEGRIP, MIKROE's programmer & debugger module, which is available as both an on-board module and a standalone device.

Launch the
MPLAB® X IDE
from Microchip
2.
Select Tools > Plugins and click
on the Available Plugins tab
3.
Go to “Mikroe CODEGRIP Probe” plugin and click Install
4.
Follow the instructions in the dialogs to install
the plugin
Once the installation is completed, the “Connected Hardware Tool” list will be updated with all the CODEGRIP probes visible through the USB or WiFi interfaces.
Once selected, you can configure it further.
If you want to use the tool as a stand-alone programmer, click on 
icon. This will build the code and program the target device. After that, you can disconnect the tool from the target device.
If you want to use it as a debugger, click on 
icon. Once the device is successfully built and programmed, the tool will be employed as a debugger and start running.
