How do I update the compiler?

Hi All,

I have a licenced copy of Microc for Pro at version 7.0.1 but I now want to use the PIC18F57K42 chip but it looks like this older version of software doesn't support this chip.

I've looked at downloading the latest complier but if I do, what happens with my licence? Does the new version reconise the licence key and 'Just Work' or do I need to follow a certain process to move my licence from the old version to the new?

Sorry but i think i posted this in the wrong section as my software is Mikroc Pro for Pic but i suppose the question is still relevent.

Hi,

Please update the compiler to the latest version 7.6.0, this MCU is supported there.

Your license will work in the latest version also, don't worry. :)
