MikroC compiler

#1 Post by vartisrl » 09 May 2024 14:45

HI
I inform everyone that the EEprom_write library does not work and stops the picmicro.
I only tested with PIC18. Have you ever found this problem?
I downloaded the new Mikroc compiler from the website, but the problem is the same.
What do you think? I asked the Mikroe team to verify the problem and update the download file on the site when any bugs appear, it would be good to perhaps also trigger the version so as to understand that it is a version with updates, as it seems since 2019 that no be updated.

Hello,

Tell us , wich MCU are you using...?

it is OK with a 18F26K22 ....

using PIckit3

18F27K42 .. a little bug to load eeprom data into the MCU
you must modify starting adress manualy in the *.ihex file
using Pickit4

Now , you better have to use MPLABX XC8 ! as me ...for new MCU.
Even MikroC (with licence) is more efficient as MPLAB XC8 free version ...
but i have payed also for MikroC pro !

HI,
The MCU is pic18F26K80 and 18F46K90, all the same problem.
I think the problem is the EEprom 1024 MCU with this MCU.
I'm waiting for news from Mikroe, I hope he answers my problem. As you recommend, I'll try using other software.
