Olympic Rings

#1 Post by foravr » 21 Jun 2012 15:59

It is a Ring of five. The 8051 is not mentioned any more. I have known this for years. Users had been waiting for a clear word. Ok, that is a way too.

Look at the advertizing ME does this week.
A real cool thing would be: debug this software and give it as freeware to the people. So there will be some fame on this - perhaps wrong - way.

We didn't give up on 8051. And this is our official answer.

When we came up with the "Olympic circles" theme for the ad we immediately knew it was good,
but trouble was that there are only 5 Olympic circles. We knew we had to leave one architecture out
and it was a very painful decision.

We chose not to advertize 8051 it in this add because compilers haven't been updated for some time.
When we release the new version it will be a big leap forward in 8051 compilers, and we will ring all the bells, don't worry.

If you buy "Elektor" magazine, you may notice another of our Olympic adds where 8051 is rightfully mentioned.

Best regards,

I use a lot of your other products and i am very convinced of them - i want to use your very new boards and i am awaiting your new vtft-version. But in this special case i will believe it when i see it. Perhaps you understand.
