Registry entry for 8051 flash programmer not found

Hi, When I try to program the Big8051 board I get this issue
I have win10 64bit
I've reinstalled PRoC twice including installing as admin and installed the flash programmer software. Though when I tell it to install the drivers it takes me to the driver folder and stays there. I don't see Windows10 drivers for the Silicon labs usb debug adapter. only older windows drivers versions

The power light on the debug adapter never comes on. I hear windows recognize the device being plugged in, but I don't see it show up in the device manager
I run the FLash programmer program separate and it doesn't read the microcontroller or debug adapter and for device choices it only gives Atmel mcu part numbers

I run both as administrator. No change
The manual doesn't mention anything about installing drivers for windows 10, though according to silabs website no driver needed should auto install in windows. Is this correct?
what am I doing wrong?

NOTE: I think its showing up under HID in device Manger as a generic USB input device as it disappears when I unplug the Debug adapter. I downloaded SiLabs USB reset utility . It detects the usb adapter and reset\flashed the adapter but I still get the same error message in MicriProC when I try to program the mcu on the board

Hi yes, thank you.
In case anyone else runs into it this, one has to download the flash utilities program from silabs web site. The MicroC pro flash utilities program is only for your AVR boards.

Not for AVRs - ME's Programmer und flash program are for the (former) ATMEL 8051-chips.
