Registry Entry for 8051 Flash Programmer was not found.

Running Windows 7. Just installed version 3.6.0 and get the above message. Works ok if I use flash program manually. Earlier post with same issue but no solution given. Having similar problem with a laboratory installation.

Hi Napier,

Did you try to install the programmer software as Admin (right-click the installation and select Run As Admin) ?

Also when this error exactly occur?

Yes. Installed as Administrator. Still did not work. . It Sends the message in a pop-up window after your run Build + Program. YOu can manually program the board using the 8051 Flash Programmer separately.

Hi,

Which version of 8051FLASH do you use?

Did you try to reinstall 8051 FLASH programmer and drivers, and try to install them as administrator?
