What about the pic libraries

#1 Post by Sidharta » 23 Sep 2005 07:37

:wink:
I intend to beging using dspics in a near future. I would like to know if the libraries that are missed like can bus and the rest are going to be developped for the dsBasic and C.
About the libraries on reception for Can bus and UART it would be very good if they were buffered and conected in some way to interrupts.
Because one can't make calls to soubroutine from interrupts it's difficult to serve them especially the 'can' ones.
This would be a real improvement of the program. Because receptión by polling is a little dirty.
It would be very good too if you could adapt the Can libraries to the new Ecan module to be able to use the new features.
In a near future Microchip is going to launch the
ENC28J60 a ethernet adapter without the thousand of pins of the Realtek module.
Do you intend to supply libraries to manage it.
Thanks for a really good product.

mikroElektronika is busy developing a library for the ENC28J60 and should be ready soon for the PIC microcontroller.

PortA not working? Add CMCON := 7; PortD not working? Add ADCON1 := 6;

As mentioned in your earler post, we work on it. Also, all the modules that are available in dsPIC will be supported by libraries and also additional peripheral devices such as ENC28J60 are being considered.
