Easy24-33 v6 dsPIC Code Examples

#1 Post by PIC Hobbyist » 16 Aug 2021 21:16

Here is link to exact development board.

https://www.mikroe.com/easy24-33

Seems like the sample code for the board is all for the supplied PIC24

In the dsPIC compilers. C, Basic and Pascal.

Is there example code for a dsPIC that would fit on our board?

To simplify.

Mikroe sample code in any language for any of the supported dsPIC's on our board?

Thanks!

dsPIC33 is of very little interest to me. I consider that if a project needs more processing power, why not go straight to PIC32.

Because of this, all I have is the simplest of test programs.

No idea if the attached is of any use, but you are welcome to have it.

If you happen to have any of the three PICs mentioned in the previous post, then I will be happy to try and port PIC24 examples of your choosing.

PIC24 and dsPIC33 have many similarities. Configuration settings (or as mikroE call them, project settings) are the trickiest changes to work out. After that, porting 24 to 33 may be fairly easy (I think)

There is not much mikroE code available for 28 pin PIC33. The clever programs are written for 64 pin or greater dsPICs.

Thank you hexreader

Sent you a PM.

Let us get a dsPIC for the board.

Actually we will get two.

You said 28 pin. Looks like they have 18 pin and 20 pin sockets on the board too.:)

Thanks!

No PMs please. Use the forum.

I will be happy to help where I can on the forum.

Yes there are many PIC options, but I only have three dsPIC33 types. Two 28 pin and one 18 pin.

Hi Hexreader

I put a post down in hardware.

We do have an 18 pin Mikroe PIC board. Easy PIC it might be called.

Have a nice day

Bob
