Fair or unfair ?

#1 Post by kentar » 12 Oct 2013 12:59

Hi all.
I think that if someone posts some code or project in libstock and is not the owner of the project
it is fair to say it or at least post a link to the original .

Agreed. If you are the owner, then perhaps you could post the original version (which may differ from the one already published...)
Kind regards, Dany.

It was my first project in microcontrollers and as Delphi user it is written in Mikropascal .
I will upload the source code if needed.
I also want to thank you for your help to Pascal users .
Keep up your great job !

I agree with kentar on two things here:

1- I must say that it's quite unfair to publish a project that isn't yours.
The least that should be done is to post a link to the original source.

2- Dany is doing a great job on his website and we're very grateful for him :D

Best Regards

The title of the topic is more of a rhetorical question than a dilemma. Of course it is not fair for someone else to take credit for your work, time and effort.

Log in into Libstock and in the lower right corner of project description click the exclamation mark (Report Abuse). Provide details about what has been stolen from you and webmasters will surely remove the project from Libstock and warn the person who presented it as its own (I just used an euphemism).
