MikroProg for PIC and PIC18F27K40 support

#1 Post by Momboz » 12 Jan 2017 18:09

I can't program my PIC18F27K40 on my EasyPIC v7 board.
Does any one have some experience with this and could give advice?
Many thanks

Hi

No I didn't update the EasyPIC v7 firmware... How would you do that?

Under mikroProg v2.50 the command USB > Update Firmware says: "There is no update for connected development board".
Command USB > Show Devices says: "" mikroPorg Firmware v2.11 - EasyPICv7

Many thanks

Hi,

Support for PIC18F27K40 is recently added, so it cannot work on EasyPIC v7 until firmware is updated.
Please open a ticket regarding this issue in order to resolve it.

Best regards,

Hi,

Were you able to find a workaround? I tried some but unfortunately, it didn't work. I have the same issue but for PIC18F26K40.

Regards,

Hi,

New version of mikroProg Suite is now available for downloading:

https://shop.mikroe.com/debuggers/mikro ... spic-pic32

With this version, you should be able to update the firmware following these instructions:

https://download.mikroe.com/documents/p ... pgrade.pdf

Kind regards,

Hi,

Can I also have this update for programming PIC18F27K40? This chip is not recognized by Mikroprog on my EasyPic7. I am running 2.51 Mikroprog and the firmware on EasyPic7 is V1.11.7.18.

I have ready in these forums that there is a release of the firmware to read the new PICs. When I click on the update menu option the programmer reports "There is no update for the connected development board.

Id appreciate a link for the new firmware.
