Debugging Issues

#1 Post by M5M8S10 » 17 Nov 2020 13:22

Hello Forum,

As I am trying to debug my sorce code and use the Step Over function, the debugger always jumps to the timer ISR. The only way to debug is using Run to Cursor or use breakpoints, which is a really exhausting thing to do, if you want to debug a chunk of code with conditionals asf line by line.
Also the Jump to Interrupt function is not accessible, whether via pressing the icon within the Watch Values window (it is just stays greyed out), over Run -> Jump to Interrupt (also greyed out) nor the shortcut.
So is there an option anywhere to disable this or is it just a bug?

I am using mikroPascalPRO for dsPIC v7.1.0 to debug the MCU P24FJ512GB610, Optimization level is set to Zero enabled SSA optimization.

regards,
Micha

Hi,

Can you please attach the minimal project that demonstrates this issue ?

Regards,
Filip.
