DB9 tp DB15 serial cable

dear All,

i just bought a wavecome fastrack supreme 20 gsm modem, however i have a problem to connect it to my computer, the modem it self use a 15 pin connector, but our computer is a 9 pin conector. any of you have the schematic diagram for this kind of serial cable?

Serial (RS232) modem cable (DB9-DB15). Pinout and signals for building a serial (RS232) modem cable
This cable should be used to connect an internal 14.4kbps Speedster modem to a computer.

DB9 pin D-SUB female to the PC
DB15 pin D-SUB female to the modem


9 pin 15 pin Direction
Carrier Detect 1 11 «—
Receive Data 2 13 «—

Data Terminal Ready 4 10 —»
System Ground 5 1+8+15
Data Set Ready 6 3 «—

thanks cymb, however the connection you gave is not really working with my wavecom modem. i have found the connection diagram from the following links.
