Writing and reading EEPROM

Hi!
I wonder if anyone has got time to make example for me...
If I want to put code to PIC16F628-RA1 is number 1,RA2is 2 etc.So i want that when i press those buttons and enter code i want pic to write that code to EEPROM.And when i press some other button(RB1)then pic write that code to lcd.I hope you understuud.
