Math Functions in Standard BASIC?

#1 Post by Dale Stewart » 11 Jan 2005 09:25

Hi

I am new to BASIC and uCs. Have done some programming in VB, Java, ( C ( very little ).

I just went through the mikroBASIC manual, but I couldn't find out what math functions are available ( except for the basic ones +,-,*,/ , sin, cos ).

e.g. exponents, base e, base 2, etc, etc.

If not I guess I can try and find some algorithms and write my own.

Cheers

Dale

The support for 'standard' math functions is on our TODO list but is not of highest priority, so I guess you can start writing your own stuff if you're interested. First improvements to follow on the math field is the support for the floating point math (for P16 and P18's) and are planned for the next mikroBasic /mikroPascal release.
