The first Flash click had an 8 MBit capacity. The second had 64. The progression continues with Flash 3 click bringing 128 Mbits to your designs.
Flash 3 click joins the ranks of click boards that come in triplets. Like our other storage clicks we try to bring more memory with each new release. With more memory come other new features such as increased operating speed.
Flash 3 click interfaces with an MCU through the SPI interface with normal speeds of 50MHz at Normal and 133MHz at Fast Read.
The library we provide is very similar to the one created for Flash 2. You can see it explained at our learn article which also contains a general introduction to Flash memory.
