Hi,
We are already working on support for PIC32MZ family, but unfortunately,
at this moment I can't give you any promise regarding time.
Thank you for your interest.
Best regards,
Marina

I totally agree with this. Before thinking of supporting new chips, please tell us why there is still no full support for the PIC32MX1/2 familly. If it is a limitation of mikroprog hardware mikroe team should be honnest enough to let us know.mikroprog for pic PIC32MX1XX/2XX full support for the series, at which time future?
This has been asked many times in the last years but the usual whislist was the only answer.

Must be honest in Mikroelektronika.
I think need to modify mikroprog for pic hardware.

Hi,
We are doing our best to add full support for PIC32MX1XX/2XX microcontrollers in our mikroProg for PIC.
Sometimes adding support for new device in mikroProg Suite takes a little longer than expected,
and because of that we can't make any promise regarding time.
Thank you for your patience.
Best regards,
Marina

Hi Marina I understand it can take some time, but in this case we are talking about more than 1 year.
But if the real answer was "It is not possible to program/debug PIC32MX1/2 microcontrollers with the actual mikroprog harware" you would have give us that answer right ?

Hi
Possible to program the temporary firmware but very slow.
Because I'm using it very fast programming wasting time pickit3
Hopefully very soon added full support

Hi,
Like carit already mention in this moment it is possible to program
PIC32MX1XX/2XX microcontrollers, but very slow, because of that I said that we are doing our best to add full support
in our mikroProg for PIC.
Best regards,
Marina

We just do not believe this any more Marina, and the reason is that we see the one ARM compiler release with full mikroProg support for whole new Families of MCU's one after the other, marina.petrovic wrote: We are doing our best to add full support for PIC32MX1XX/2XX microcontrollers in our mikroProg for PIC.

not much time left for MCHP and AVR development .There where no MCHP - AVR compiler updates the last 6 months yet 2 ARM release in the same period. Are you at mE
aware that MCHP also released new devices many PIC16 and PIC24's which is not supported by your compilers
we purchased the compiler on mE promises to update compiler regurarly this is not the case any longer even mikroProg is further behind as the compiler supporting devices

Do we know if this will be a new IDE (kind of like how the pic, dspic and pic32 IDEs are separate), or will it be patched into the PIC32 IDE?marina.petrovic wrote:Hi,

WOW! Excellent!
Re: New PIC32 Series PIC32MZ2048ECH144
This seems to be a somewhat old post. It has been awhile since the PIC compilers have received some love. Any ideas when a new PIC32 compiler would be released?

Hi,
PIC32 compiler release is on top of our priorities.
The new release will be as soon as possible and like I already mentioned support for PIC32MZ family will be added.
At this moment we are working on new release for our PIC compilers.
Best regards,
Marina
