Hi octal
Very nice and thank you I think that this will help many users of mE compilers.
This mE community is really going forward well by these type of actions between the users and mE ,
specially because of people like you,Janni and y2lio with you extended software libs and tools ,
Another person that gives a lot of help and valuable information is Bytex

Hello p.erasmus !
You (and all other users) are welcome.
I'm glad you find this tool useful.
I invite everybody on this forum to give any comments or suggestions to let us enhance this tool the way it should be.
This tools is free, but it does not mean that it cost nothing. It's a huge amount of work, coding, tests on software, hardware, and a lot a lot of amount of time invested.
If users find it usefull, they can contribute in two ways:
1- Suggestions and bug reports
2- contribution to XGLCD library and tests on various platforms.
3- if you use this tool in your company, for making commercial products, think to make donations. Donations of any ammount are usefull to let us recover website hosting fees, hardware investments, ... You can find donation button on the Ordering Page on http://www.pocketmt.com/index.php?target=order
Feel free to use it as much as you want
MikroElektronika helped a lot (thank to the mE-Team), but I hope that companies using GLCD Font Creator and XGLD Library to shorten time to market schedules to think to provide support. Every donation makes life easier for people investing time and money to help the community.

Hi!
This is great. Just great!
Would you be so kind to supply sample code for mikroPascalAVR PRO?
Since suppled sample is for PIC complilers.
I hardly wait T6963 to be fully included in...
Keep going...

Re: Sample code for mikroPascalAVR
Sorry but if you download the XGLCD library 1.0.0 you'll get there ALL libs and ALL samples for ALL microcontrollers (PIC, AVR and 8051) .mbruck wrote:Hi!

Since suppled sample is for PIC complilers.
when you decompress the ZIP you'll got a folder
XGLCD_Lib_1.0.0\XGLCD\Avr\ (look at the screenshot)
And specifically with AVR I got a little problem with flash memory space for Atmega16 when I wanted to put 4 or 5 font very big tables (arrays of const). So I have put two folders for mikroBasic and mikroPascal :
\mikroBasic
\mikroBasicAtmega32
\mikroPascal
\mikroPascalAtmega32
the normal folders are examples done and tested with Atmega16 on EasyAvr5A, in these examples I simply removed one font in order to make it possible to fit the code and tables in the flash.
Folders having Atmega32 as suffix are the same with all fonts active.
For mikroC pro for avr, the example with fonts compiled fine even on an Atmega16, so I didnt put Atmega32 version.
That's all
Check again the new XGLCD Lib version 1.0.0 I provided, ALL examples are for ALL microcontrollers PIC, AVR and 8051 !!!
Final note, I used mikroBasic/mikroPascal/mikroC in the name of folders for historical reason, but in fact they are really done using PRO versions of the compilers.

Re: GLCD Font Creator 1.1.0 - mikroElektronika Edition
Yes GLCD Font Creator supports UNICODE fonts import (the screenshot on first post is an example !!!)salwa wrote:but is its Unicode

Just select a UNICODE Font that has all unicode blocs implemented, like SimSUN font for example, and at import time, select the correct interval (FROM ... TO) of chars, and the import will be correct!
PS. A new version will be published these days !!! (please be patient)
