Opening source files of packages wished.

#1 Post by Dany » 26 Aug 2011 19:57

v5.0.1

Hi, it would be very nice if, in the help menu of the mP IDE's library manager (now: help/examples/uninstall/copy), one could open source files in a package if they are provided. Currently one can not look into or edit package source files (unless one know their location :? ).

After all, checked packages are part of the project, in the same way (for the user that is) as files added in the project manager's "source" section. :D

Thanks in advance! :D :D :D Keep up the good work.
Kind regards, Dany.

Hi,

I have found a work around to make above possible:
- build the project (all files)
- double click a line in the "messages" pane which refers to the desired unit/library

Acting so the source file (if any) of the unit/library will be opened in the IDE.
Kind regards, Dany.
