using PIC to access weather data from internet

Hi,
will be posible to make a program (wit one of the PIC dew board) that will control the solar water heater system, based on the online weather report?

It's an indefinite question, but the main problem is - will it be possible to establish a connection and access the weather report web site to access the data.
