Peripheral Pin Select (PPS)

#1 Post by EZI » 08 Apr 2018 19:27

With the new chips that have been released in the last couple of years, it would be nice to have a routine that works with
the current software or a stand-alone program for setting up PPS. I'm planning to move from PIC18F26k22 to the 47k42
and think anyone who is using chips that support PPS would need/want this program (addon/stand-alone). As you know there is
program option in MPLABX that will do PPS configuration and generates code for the remapping of pins. The only problem is
you have to install MPLABX (about 4+GByte of disk space) it is bad enough that the IPE takes up 1.9 GByte. :?

Ok so I jumped the gun..just updated to 7.2 and there is PPS support, at first look it seems ok, not sure about defining pin remapping (pin 15 of the device why is it not Portc.b4?). I hope there are some examples of using the remapped SPI.

Hi,

There are simple examples in the Help file, PPS chapter.

Regards,
Filip.
