Hi
can you support ATxMEGA8E ?
I know that I must use external programming tool.
Best regards.

Re: Support ATXMEGA8E
Hi,
Unfortunately, the mikroProg for AVR doesn't support XMEGA family of MCUs.

Filip.

Re: Support ATXMEGA8E
Hi Filip
Will mikroProg support the XMega range in the future?
Don't want to beat a dead horse but there is the mikroMedia XMega and other xmega hardware.
Compilers support a limited range of xmega chips.
It just seems that mikroProg should support the xmega chips. (At least the ones the compiler supports).
I did recently buy mikroPascal Pro Compiler and a mikroMedia XMega plus a couple of accessories.
I assumed it would have been fully supported by all your products.
I guess thats my fault for not reading the manual first

Re: Support ATXMEGA8E
Hi,
I agree that it would be most convenient to mikroProg for AVR support the XMEGA family of MCUs.
Our developers have this on the wish list for some time.
This would lead to a complete toolchain which is surely the best thing a developer can have.
Regards,
Filip.

Hi Filip,
Good to hear it's on the team's wishlist.
It would certainly complete what is a great, almost complete, solution for the AVR
Thanks for the feedback.

Re: Support ATXMEGA8E
I also demand PDI interface support for XMega. In your mikroProg or with external JTAGICE mkII - not important. For now, I use mikroPackal for AVR for firmware development and Atmel Studio for XMega programming with hex file. I'm losing all the convenience and speed of development, provided by mikroPascal. And I didn't talk about debugging abilities. I hope you're hear us.
Re: Support ATXMEGA8E
Hi,
I perfectly understand your situation, I will put this on out wish list.
Regards,
Filip.

Now I can't use ARDUINO compiler and mikroPascal .... Now, I Must use ATMEL Studio. And it's not faster than mikroPascal!
Please add, all ATxMega

Is there any progress in the topic?
We also eager to have atxmega in the avr programmer.

Thanks Stéf,
but I'm talking about the programmer, not the compiler.

Hi,
The XMEGA series are on this list quite a time, but unfortunately there is currently no progress regarding this.

Filip.
