It is planned for next release. The hardware has arrived, but it is still unpacked. It is on schedule, we will see how much work it needs.

Unfortunately, the hardware is still unpacked and waiting for being evaluated. :?

The reason for this is that at the moment we are putting accent on compiler engine. Fortunatlely, the work on engine finishes with new debugger and optimization. The sooner is going to be released this month, while the optimization is due to next month. Afterwards, we will put our hands on various libraries and then you can expect GPS.

Hows it going?

#6 Post by BruceNZ » 21 Sep 2008 06:02

How is the GPS/Nmea hardware / libraries going? It has been a few years since it was first discussed.

There are quite a few of us quite keenly waiting for the software library in particular.

Thanks

Bruce

It is great to know that GPS is on his way to MikroBasic. This for sure would expand development in the field of GIS.

Good request and nice anticipation of the Mikroelektronika team :D
