The window "finished searching" (shows when no more occurence of the search string is found) goes to background when clicking on the main mP window.
I know this is standard windows behaviour, but in this case it is very desirable that the window "finished searching" stays on top: mP does "seem" to function no more as long as the window is there.
p.s. sometimes the "finished searching" window goes also to the background when simply hovering over it???
