One of my programs is still by 2.5 kbytes (6%) bigger under v 8.0.0.1 than under v7. That's quite a chunk of memory (not as much as 10kbytes bloating under v8.0.0.0, but still a lot). Slower code execution is also noticable.
Naturally, I wouldn't mind, if other problems (http://www.mikroe.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=15207) were fixed as well
, but bit-testing is the major factor in code bloating causing moving to newest version impossible for me.
