Please fix the find window problems

#1 Post by PC Pete » 11 Mar 2009 22:17

If I search for a particular string in the source code for a project using Ctrl-F, if the search terminates, then I recompile, then search again (using F3), the search window gets lost and it just beeps every time I try to continue the search or terminate it.

The only way I can get rid of the hidden search window is to switch away from both MP and the search result window, then manually switch to the search result window, which then displays, and I can then click "OK" to close the window.

Hello PC Pete,

I didn't manage to reproduce this, can you record this using Camtasia Studio.

Best regards

Hi Ranko, unfortunately I no longer use MikroE's Pascal development tools any longer, and they're no longer installed on any of my development systems.

From what I can remember of the problem, the description included the exact steps for reproducing the problem, and it occurred 100% of the time.

Maybe the latest version of the IDE doesn't have this problem? That would be a good outcome, I guess!

Regards,
PC Pete
