Using a 8052 with the demo program

#1 Post by tcross » 13 Oct 2015 21:14

Hi All!

I am going to try to repair some circuit boards which use a 8052 processor. I will need a compiler to build test programs. I downloaded the MikroC demo compiler and looked it over and it looks OK for me to use, however I would like to be able to just test turning on and off one pin on a 8052 processor before I jump in and buy the program. Can this be done using the demo version? I don't see it as a choice when creating a project.

Hello,

Our compiler is built for the 8051 core microcontrollers. I am not sure if you can program 8052 processors with it. If it can be done, then a simple writing to a pin should not be a problem. However, once again, I am not sure if you can program 8052 with our 8051 compiler successfully.

Best regards,
