Hello MikroE Team !

Nice new GUI !

I wonder if that GUI will be shipped for other MikroC
compilers too ?? for example the PIC compilers ??

HI

this GUI is terrible for me..
working very slow in my laptop TOSHIBA L20-183 - Win XP.
I love standard GUI like in MikroC 8.1 is very fast and comfortable.
the most important is what it can do and not how it looks..

But !!

ofcourse - Great Work ME Team - probably many people will be happy with this.

but if ME will have plan to implement this GUI in new mikroC please add possiblites a switch to standard GUI :)

about the comiler - Fantastic !! Thanks !

Yes you are right, we are doing a revision of our compilers for PIC and, of course, new GUI will be implemented.

rdiofm,

can you inform me of your laptop hardware recources.
CPU speed, amount of RAM...?

Love the new GUI, which works great on my DELL XPS720 and IBM A55.
I hope that this new GUI will apear in the next MikroC for PIC version.

Also have some crashes

Hi,

New GUI looks good but, works slow on my laptop. My conf is: Acer laptop with AMD Turion 1.8G, 1GB RAM.

Also another thing is that: the laptop stops responding when I start UDP terminal. There may be a bug. It sends a bug report then.

We had this issue reported earlier. It seems to be linked to combination of HW and SW on your PC. So far, we have concluded that it also may be caused by a firewall which detects that the UDP Terminal wants to use Ethernet and crashes from some reason.
