It would be useful to have oscilloscope-like trigger to both the logic and analog scope, built in firmware. This will allow synchronizing the display with periodic signals (e.g. PWM).
For logic scope, the trigger would be specified as the pin number and signal transition/edge. For the analog scope the trigger would also require a voltage threshold (can be 0-4095).
Upon sending a command from UI, the firmware should enter a waiting state (wait for trigger, maybe with timeout), do the acquisition on trigger, send data, then enter another waiting state (wait for UI command).
