Simple version of picplc

#1 Post by ncc1502 » 20 Sep 2019 11:39

I would need a simple PIC devellopment board to interface industrial systems with 24V = levels.

It has to have (at least) 8 digital inputs and 8 digital outputs.

The inputs must be able to connect to 24V = (lets say with 20-30V)
The outputs voltage of the PIC must be 24V = (100 mA would be enough)

Inputs could be done with f.i. opto's or with a SN75189A
Outputs could be done with f.i. ULN2803

I would prefer positive logic (24V input becomes high input on pic, if Pic output is high, there should be 24V output)

Since I interface with 24V, it would be no problem to supply this voltage for the devellopment board.

The other I/O pins could be regular 5V.

The above could be done with a picplc16 board, but that is way to big (because of all the features it has
Better safe than sorry
