PIC18F87J50 to DIP40 board

#1 Post by st5 » 28 Sep 2015 13:30

Clicker2 looks like a nice product, http://www.mikroe.com/pic/clicker-2-pic18fj/ but I want to make it work first on my Easypic v7 board.
Is it possible to make a PIC18F87J50 to DIP40 board, so I can simulate and test things here?

With the communications and power (and other relevant) lines routed to where they are on the PIC18F45K22.
Eventually with some jumpers for selection.

A bit like the MINI-32 Board http://www.mikroe.com/mini/pic32/ but with exacly the same processor, to avoid code differences.

Or make a clicker2 with a DIP40 socket/processor.
3x PicPlc16V6 1x EasypicV7

Going from programming on PC to embedded programming is like working in the dark with sunglasses on.

Hello,

we have put a lot of thought into making a similar boards to mini-32.
It is on our to do list.

We are considering to make mini-18FJ but with a PIC18F67J94. You can take a look at its specifications:

Unfortunately, I can't tell you how soon that will be done.

Best regards,
Biljana
