is there a possibility to switch back from the disassembly view to source-code view while simulating ?

Just click the dissasembly button again and you will be back to source code (if there is one available).

ok , found out that this has to be inside code which has source available , once you step into library-code without source available you must complete that block of code until after the return to 'own' code. quite logical actually. Great improvement for debugging anyway!
