[mC V0.98 8051] mikroc zombi process

#1 Post by bruno » 06 Mar 2008 22:28

Hi,

I can't explain how, but I managed to get a mikroc zombi process on my system (winXP) : according to windows task manager process was eating 99% of CPU time, whereas no mikroC window was opened.
my system was slowed down, killing the mikroc8051.exe zombi process restored system to normal state.

:? not sure but I think I closed the IDE during a huge build.

We analyzed the report and could not see the error. However, the version we have has evolved a lot comparing to the one you have. I, therefore, expect that the problem is solved already, otherwise we have to see more of the bug reports before solving the issue.

The official release was supposed to go yesterday, but we step on something so we postponed the release for next week.
