Dongle instread of licence

Dongle instread of licence

hello

I would like to purchase the avr compiler but due my work
I have to change (almost) every week of laptop,
licence is not a valid option, why don´t you offer dongle version?,

We will be consider that option, but I think it is not going to be soon.

If you install the compiler on USB flash disk, you will be able to use it on any PC. It does not affect performance- it works quite well.

as far as I know licence is locked at one pc,
did you tested that solution arround the usb flash disk?

The license is linked to a hard disk.

We tested this on flash disk, it works fine.

great, this could be the solution,
any special care I should have with that flash disk (ex:not delete files, never quick format),

I guess this respect the compiler licence
